Break-even point: units and revenue needed to cover fixed costs, with contribution margin and an optional target profit.

Find how many units you need to sell, and how much revenue you need, to cover your fixed costs. Optionally add a target profit to plan sales.

Send these as a JSON object. Unknown fields are rejected.

fixedCosts: Total fixed costs for the period (rent, salaries…), in currency units. (number, 0 to …, required)
price: Selling price per unit. Must be greater than the variable cost. (number, 0 to …, required)
variableCost: Variable cost per unit (materials, shipping…). (number, 0 to …, required)
targetProfit: Optional profit to aim for; adds the units and revenue needed to reach it. (number, 0 to …)
