Spell any text with the NATO phonetic alphabet (Alfa, Bravo, Charlie), with ICAO digits like Niner and Fife, or decode phonetic words back into letters.

Send these as a JSON object. Unknown fields are rejected.

input: Text to spell out, or phonetic words to decode (e.g. Hotel Echo Lima Lima Oscar). (string, required)
direction: encode (text → code words) or decode (code words → text). (string, one of encode, decode, default "encode")
digits: Digit words: standard (Three, Four, Five, Nine) or icao (Tree, Fower, Fife, Niner). (string, one of standard, icao, default "standard")
format: Encode output: inline (words separated by spaces, " / " between words) or lines (one "H - Hotel" per line). (string, one of inline, lines, default "inline")
