How to use the Business Days Calculator
- Choose whether to count the business days between two dates, or add a number of business days to a date.

Frequently asked questions
Are the start and end dates included?
When counting between dates, both are included by default, like Excel's NETWORKDAYS. Untick either box to leave it out. When adding business days, the start date is never counted: 1 business day after a Friday is the following Monday.
Which holidays are excluded?
Only the ones you enter. Public holidays differ by country, region and year, so paste your own list, one date per line. A holiday that falls on a weekend is only counted once, as a weekend day. If your holiday moves to a weekday “in lieu”, add that date too.
Can I use a Friday–Saturday or six-day week?
Yes. Tick whichever days are your weekend: Friday and Saturday, just Sunday, or any other combination, as long as at least one day is a working day.
How is this different from the Date Calculator?
The Date Calculator skips Saturdays and Sundays only. This tool also takes holidays and custom weekends, and lists every date it skipped so you can check the answer.
