Frequently asked questions
Are daylight saving changes included?
Yes. Times and offsets come from your browser's time zone database for the current moment, so clocks switch to and from summer time on the right dates, including in the southern hemisphere.
How is day or night decided?
By local clock time: 06:00 to 17:59 shows a sun and the rest of the day a moon. It's a quick guide, not actual sunrise and sunset, which depend on the season and latitude.
Where is my list of cities stored?
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing is sent anywhere, and clearing your site data or pressing Reset brings back the default cities.
